Community Impact’s Sharing Our Stories Benefit Gala and Auction is an annual celebration of the many ways in which CI makes a difference in the lives of university students and community members. We invite you to join us this year as we come together to showcase our work, honor those who share our mission, and raise support for our programs.

As an independent, nonprofit organization located on the campus of Columbia University, we are dedicated to serving under-resourced people primarily in the Morningside Heights, Harlem, and Washington Heights communities. For over 40 years, we have strived to advance the public good by offering meaningful volunteer opportunities for college students and providing high-quality programs that meet the needs of the community.

The past year has seen these needs increase significantly, particularly in the area of Food Access. Due to difficult economic times and increasing numbers of migrants arriving in NYC, demand for Community Impacts’ Emergency Food & Health programs has sky-rocketed. Therefore, this year’s Sharing Our Stories will shine a spotlight on the CI programs, volunteers, staff, partners, and community members who are dedicated to providing Food Access.
